Vietnam Water Week (VWW) is an important annual event for the water treatment industry in Vietnam. It is hosted by the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (VWSA) and organized by the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA).
Vietnam's water treatment industry is showing great potential. According to the report "Vietnam Wastewater Treatment Market In-depth Research and Analysis Report 2020-2024”, across Vietnam, 283 industrial zones have been established and put into operation, discharging more than 550,000 cubic meters of wastewater per day. From 2016 to 2020, the government of Vietnam invested a total of US$15 billion in municipal wastewater treatment and a total of 13.9 billion dollars. Moreover, the Vietnamese government's emphasis on environmental protection continues to increase, with growing demand for water supply and drainage, sewage and wastewater purification and treatment, and environmental protection equipment in Vietnam.
Hanoi Water Week Vietnam is one of Southeast Asia's largest and most influential water exhibitions. It attracts professionals, enterprises, scholars, and government representatives from all over the world who come together to discuss the sustainable use and management of water resources. The exhibition provides a good platform for cooperation and communication within the industry.
Major manufacturers displayed the latest water treatment technologies and equipment on the show floor. The exhibits ranged from high-efficiency wastewater treatment systems to intelligent water management software. These advanced technologies not only improve the utilization efficiency of water resources but also greatly reduce the impact on the environment. These innovative technologies are especially important in the face of climate change and water scarcity.
During the exhibition, SNEC exchanged in-depth information with counterparts from different countries. We shared our respective countries' experiences and challenges in water resources management and explored possible opportunities for future cooperation. This spirit of cross-border cooperation can effectively promote the exchange and advancement of technology and inject new momentum into the development of the global water industry.
Participating in the Hanoi Water Week in Vietnam has benefited us at Sunergy Environment, broadening our horizons and providing new industry development opportunities. Water resources are the foundation of human survival and development, and it is the responsibility of every one of us to promote the sustainable development of the water industry. We hope to have more opportunities to participate in such exhibitions and work with colleagues in the global water industry to create a better water environment.
